AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s remark that he will not chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ even if a knife is put on his throat has sparked lots of controversies.
Giving a full fitting reply to Owaisi for his remark, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu said: “It is misfortunate for our Country that some ‘shameless’ people have objections in paying obeisance to mother.”
“India is our mother and no one should have an objection to paying obeisance to mother. It is the misfortune of the country that some people object to it. They are shameless. Some parties are backing such forces; it is unfortunate. There is no need to pressurize anyone or there is no need for a law to respect our mother,” Venkaiah Naidu told the media.
